Objective : The purpose of this research was to understand the emotions of disabled in starting relationships with the opposite gender and disclosing experienced events related to starting relationships with the opposite gender. Methods : In order to gain an understanding of experience, emotions and process of people with acquired disability, phenomenological study, a form of qualitative research was used. Data on subjects was collected through in-depth interviews, on-the-scene recording and technical observation diary, etc and were analyzed through Colaizzi's phenomenolo -gical study method. Results : Subjects who had acquired disabilities experienced changes in physical, psycho -logical, social aspects and especially in the course of relationships with the opposite gender. Data from in-depth interviews of 8 subjects were analyzed 6 types of subject themes were derived. 1) Diagnosis of varying psychological reactions. 2) Various psycho -logical reactions of parents and the other gender. 3) Through aggressive support reha -bilitation volition will change. 4) After you have a disability as a lack of social skills. 5) Changes in confidence through rehabilitation. 6) the other gender for the different ideas. Conclusion : This research is valuable in presenting important data in understanding problems and emotions of relationships of people with acquired disabilities with opposite gender. Starting relationships with the opposite gender has more meaning than any other interacting activities in society. Conflicts exist in starting relationships and support programs for various specialists are indispensable.

Purpose : This purpose of this study was to improve the Image of Occupation Therapy for developing profession of Occupation Therapy. Method : The subjects in this study were Dep. of Occupational Therapy Students of University located in　Gwang-ju chonnam. After collecting 340 evaluation forms, 316 analyzed and compared them, excluding unanswered or damaged forms. Conclusion : 1) The Image of Occupation Therapy in Dep. of Occupational Therapy Students(M=3.676) was positively perceived. 2) Factor analysis on instrument was conducted that four constructions of professional, social, devotion, and job images. Among four images of Occupation Therapy , professional image was most highly perceived(M=3.925), which were followed by devotion image(M=3.84), job images(M=3.774), and social image(M= 3.160). 3) There is no statistical difference of Occupation Therapy image between grade levels.

The number of the disabled person had been increased for the industrial accident and the environmental pollution. Especially, developmental disability has the high prevalence rate between 5% and 10% of the whole children. The children with a developmental disability can be treated by the physical therapy, the occupational therapy, the psychology therapy, speech therapy, and art therapy. Visual preception which is function to recognize the external environment through the optic organ could be related to most behaviors on the everyday life. But because the children with disability could not develop the visual-preception enough, they came to have difficulties in executing daily life project. For this reason, it is most important to understand the estimation and the cure on the visual-preception in the pediatric occupational therapy. To improve the visual-preception power, we have many kind of methods including sensory integration, training program for the visual-perception and art-craft program. Particularly, the art-craft which is the representative activity for making something by hands, can be applied to anyone. As the study on the brain has been activated, it was proved that handicraft actives could have an good effect on the brain function and using brain. When the fine motor exercise and more delicate and accurate motion were carried, these motions need the essential help of the visual-perception. So it could be expected that using the repetitive hand function by art-craft makes the brain function improve, when a activity that needs a fine motor exercise and more delicate, accurate motion was carried, It also indicates that the art-craft program has a clear treatment value. Though the intervention between visual-perception development and visual-perception disability have a majority in the field of occupational therapy, there is a few study yet. Therefore, this study tried to look back on the necessity of applying the art-craft program to the children with dis -ability as the prestudy for preliminary validity of the master's thesis.
